For the second time in a matter of days a discovery of a lifetime was found in Oceanside Harbor, Calif. A 13-and-a-half foot-long oarfish was found washed up on shore. Oarfish live in water depths of up to 3,000 feet so this occurence is very rare. Oarfish can grow up to 50 feet and usually only come to the surface when they're injured or dying. Little is known about their habitats or life cycle and this is only the second one found. It's said that it kind of looks like a giant eel or snake. Most people had new clue what is was.
