Kenosha alderman, G. John Ruffolo, is stressing the need
for an additional fully staffed ambulance on the city’s north side, at Station
6 (2615 14th Place). This is something he’s been trying to do for
the past 16 years now, but as Kenosha is estimated to have a 40 percent
increase in population growth, this is increasingly more important. Alderman
Ruffolo has asked for this staffed ambulance to be presented to the mayor about
being included in next year’s budget.
This news is especially important to the UW-Parkside
community because Kenosha Fire Department’s Station 6 services campus.

This is an interesting development and indeed, critical to the Parkside community and north side residents particularly in light of the estimated population growth, which is pretty substantial.
